New members welcome

The ‘Sheffield Motor Neurone Disorders Research Advisory Group’ (SMND RAG) is a committee that brings together patients and carers from the South Yorkshire area who wish to be actively involved in ensuring patient and public involvement in Sheffield MND research.  If you are interested in becoming involved with the group you can access more details about the role and application form here or please contact us for more details. You are also welcome to attend a meeting and can have a tour of SITraN to see if you would like to become involved with this group.

New member biography – Linsday Lonsborough

lindsay_lonsboroughI sadly lost my husband Mark last year who had MND for 13 years. I am currently a PA for two clients whom both have MND. I feel I have a lot to contribute not only in a professional capacity but as a full time carer too. I am extremely passionate to get involved in any aspect of research  that I can.

MND Study Day

SITraN will again be hosting the annual MND study day on Thursday 14th May 2015.  The study day is aimed at medical, health and social care professionals who care for and support people living with MND.  For more information please email Annette Taylor at  annette.taylor@sheffield.ac.uk.
